I am a qualified BSL/English interpreter, registered with the NRCPD (RSLI) and full member of ASLI.
I graduated from the University of Bristol in 2006 with a degree in Deaf Studies and then joined the BSL Futures Project as an Apprentice Interpreter. I completed my Postgraduate Diploma in BSL/English Interpreting with SLI Ltd in 2008 and have since been working freelance. I have experience working in various domains including employment and workplace, social services, medical, education and training, government, conferences etc.
I particularly enjoy interpreting in further and higher education, with a special interest in the sciences. I have a degree in Economics and have recently taken modules in advanced Mathematics and Natural Sciences with the Open University to gain more knowledge in this area.
